Fitonasal Pediatric
Fitonasal Pediatric contains Tannisal®, a complex composed of tannins and rock salt.

Fitonasal Pediatric decongests, protects the nasal mucosa and clears the nose from excess mucus and the pathogens, irritants and allergens trapped within it (pathogens, smoke, smog, pollen, irritants, etc.). It performs a physiological cleansing, decongestant and protective action through the following mechanisms of action:
Balanced osmotic
Helps draw back water from congested tissues without causing irritation and dryness, through its balanced and standardised osmolality (600 mOsm/Kg).
Local astringent
It interacts aspecifically with certain inflammatory proteins found in the nasal fluid and enables their removal.
Barrier
It forms a film on the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritants, helping to maintain the integrity of the epithelial barrier.
Antioxidant
Reduces the free radicals generated by inflammation of the mucosa.
Deep cleansing
Helps remove excess mucus and the pathogens, allergens and other substances trapped within it thanks to the continuous-flow spray jet.
Indications
Fitonasal Pediatric is a nasal spray indicated for the prevention and treatment of both acute and chronic congestion and irritation of the nasal cavities caused by flu syndromes, colds, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Using this product thus promotes breathing and aids nocturnal sleep in young children.
It also be used as an adjuvant treatment for coughs and sore throats caused by postnasal drip and otitis media resulting from nasal congestion.
The product is suitable from 6 months of age.
Instructions for use
Use at least twice a day, morning and evening, and as often as deemed necessary.
From 6 months to one year of age
- Lay your child down on one side, put the nozzle into the nostril that is now in the higher position and spray the product.
- Turn your child onto their other side and repeat in the other nostril.
From 1 year of age
- Put the nozzle into the nostril and apply gentle pressure for a few seconds.
- Clean the nose or, if possible, blow it before spraying the product into the other nostril.
Use nasally only. After each use, clean the nozzle with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
Composition
1 ml of product contains: the natural complex Tannisal® 6.8 mg, composed of Tannins (LPME extractive fraction of Witch Hazel – 0.2 mg) and Minerals (salt of mined extraction, not chemically treated – 6.6 mg); Water; Vegetable Glycerine; Lemon Juice; Nahcolite (natural Sodium Bicarbonate).
Preservative-free
The extractive fractions contained in the product are obtained through a technological process, called LPME (Liquid-Phase Microextraction), developed by Aboca research.
