Fitonasal BioOintment provides a natural remedy for irritation and dryness of the nasal mucosa and the skin around the nose.
Indications
Fitonasal BioOintment is recommended for use in all cases of:
- irritation of the nasal mucosa caused by a runny nose, in cases of the common cold and various forms of acute and chronic rhinitis.
- dryness and atrophy of the nasal mucosa caused by acute and chronic medical conditions (e.g. sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis), by medication (e.g. decongestants, corticosteroids, antihistamines), by contact with external irritants (e.g. microorganisms, dust, smoke, smog, pollen, cold air), or to prolonged exposure to dry or excessively heated environments;
- irritation, chapping and abrasions of the nostrils and the skin around the nose caused by excess mucus and frequent rubbing.
It can also be used as a preventative measure, in situations that may cause dryness, and before engaging in prolonged physical activity.
Instructions for use
Depending on age and the size of the nostrils, apply an appropriate amount of product to your finger (roughly the size of a coffee bean for adults and about half that for children).
Apply it inside the nostril and massage gently from the bottom upwards. If you experience skin irritation, chapping or abrasions, apply the product to the skin around the nose as well.
The product should be applied after the nose has been thoroughly cleaned (particularly in children, after rinsing with nasal rinses). Apply 3–4 times a day, particularly in the evening before going to bed.
Composizione
1 ml of bio-ointment contains: 6 mg of Redraphen complex, based on resins and polysaccharides (an extractive fraction of frankincense and dehydrated Aloe Vera leaf gel), 146 mg of jojoba oil, water, sucrose stearate, sucrose distearate, glyceryl stearate, cetylstearyl alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, xanthan gum, citric acid, tocopherols, sodium metasilicate, benzyl alcohol, sodium dehydroacetate, sunflower oil and lavender essential oil.
